The vote was for my kitty so here goes:
She is the best damn foot/leg warmer ever. She is a fat ass, and squisy. She has learned how to open the cupboard doors and go in, but not out, it is fucking hilarious. She hates her leash! The little plastic rings around new milk bottles are her new fav toy. She has knocked over many a things in the kitchen playing with them. She has not hacked a hairball in forever. She LOVES her wet food. That's about it. Next topic?

I wonder what is so wrong with me that i can't find happiness in what I have, and can only dwell on what I don't have, but want. Also, my rats tail is hanging out of the cage, and my cat is going in for the kill... thank goodness for cages. Its cold, but i need to walk! Random babblings are fun. So... this month has so rock:
I did nothing for New Years, which was good because i was recovering from my trip home to MI, then back to TX. The trip home sucked, damn wind delayed us for an hour... Detroit sucks in the winter, well the wind sucks, i did miss the snow though. I have yet to see snow here, and i think the coldest it has been is oh 25 :P
The next weekend i chilled out with some people from work for a night of drinking, and games. I killed my hands playing spoons, lost, and had to do the dance of the walrus. I was never asshole though, so i can brag about that!
Last weekend I went out with more peoples from work. Found out that a guy that used to work at my place brought his GF, and his GF was uber excited to meet another person from Mich! She was fun. It was entertaining that she went to Western and I went to Central. Stories were damn fun! Good news they live just down the street from me, so w00t.
Next weekend, or the one coming up whatev, I am taking a trip to OKC to see my friends Matt and Karen. I haven't seen them since their wedding over a year and a half ago. They left me for Alaska :( Horray that he works for the NWS and has training in Oklahoma.
The weekend after that... Advanced Skywarn training.. on a saturday!!!! So i can go!!!! Yeah i might be a GIS tech, but i still am a weather nerd at heart. The fact that it is on a sat is great, since i work from 3 to mid everynight. I have missed so many things cause of that but not this!
Today at work i cut my finger doing a project for my supervisor. He made me clean it with alcohol... i whined like a little girl, it hurt like hell. I mean i understand i hurt myself on company stuff... government stuff to be exact.. but hell it was a little cut, i don't even clean the big wounds i get. Damn sting hurt so fucking bad.. still hurts. Meh so i am a wuss.
My cat is fat and happy, caught a roach for me the other night, so i am grateful for that. My rat is healty too, she was making some scary noises, so i took her to the vet, but she is healthy w00t! Oh and I have been volunteering at an animal shelter, helping the little kitties.. I love it, it is so sad but so fun. They might not all make it, but at least i am making their days a bit happier with some pets and holdings and playings. If anyone in the DFW area wants a kittie, lemme know i can hook you up with one, or two or three.
Ah it is nice updating when i semi have a life hahaha, we shall see how long it lasts. Anyways wanna know more ask, said too much, too bad.

Since everyone else is updating about their lives, i might as well too:
I have been in Texas since April, and have seen numerous mutant roaches, geckos that like to shower with me, giant ass bees, and birds fly into cars and die. Mutant roaches... they live at work, and outside my apartment, i swear everynight they have a meeting out on my patio, I know this cause my cat freaks trying to get them. As for the birds, i think the heat gets to them, and confuses them. One flew into my coworkers car while we were going to get my tattoo, and the other one, flew into a car tire infront of me as i was driving to work. I drove though a bunch of feathers hahaha it was funny.
I am bored and lonely down here, i am not going to lie. I know no one, no one at work does anything, and almost everyone has a significant other that they would rather hang out with, and i so hate being the third, or fifth wheel! I dunno what to do. I am going to volunteer at the humane society, but i need some like bar scenes or house party scenes. In good news all the people work is hiring are guys.. bad news, again most are taken. Blah
Um.. I dunno the last time i updated but here goes: There aren't as many storms down here as i thought there would be, it is hotter than i ever thought it could get (car read 116 once) It never rains, hurricane clouds are awesome looking.. thanks Gustav, Please Ike hit DFW!!! People say i talk funny, but i don't hear it. I now am starting to say ya'll and fixin, but i still say pop! I got a tattoo, i have a fat cat who is scared of everyone, her name is Honey. Adopted her, they think she is 3 or 4. I also adopted a rat, who attacks the cat, her name is Sasha. She is white with red eyes. All of these are pictured on facebook.
My job sucks, well ok management sucks. I still like the people though, and it is a good entry level job, so here is hoping i can find something better in a year, and hopefully more outgoing not attached people.
Um... i may have thyroid issues, we find out in oct. Six Flags sucks, and is nothing like cedar point. It's odd to see oil shale things go up and down here, those tower thingies, they are built and tore down so fast. Texas is still, somewhat, a bible thumping, good ol boy state, but as long as i stay in the cities, i am safe hehehe. No offense to pure texans, but i sure have met some crazy ones. Oh yeah, the south though is much friendlier, as long as you are not driving. Everyone says hi, waves, smiles, even when they don't know you. I felt so rude the first few weeks ahahaha. As for driving, yeah, no one knows how to merge,or that the fast lane is for passing, and not for going slower than the merging lane. Fort Worth is so much more alive than Detroit, makes me sad for my city :(
Now i am rambling, but too damn bad ahahahah. I am thinking of going back to school since my company will pay for some of it, get a masters in GIS.. i am so a meteorologist gone bad. I miss jets pizza, and rite aid, meijers, OMG i miss meijers, faygo pop, BUT if you ever get a chance to try it, Dublin Dr. Pepper, the kind made with cane sugar.. OMG sooo fucking good. I like that the fruit and veggie season down here is longer, and that i can swim late into the year. I miss the social life i had, but meh, i guess i can start over right?
Ok nuff babbling, oh wait i have the perfect hours for my job 3pm - 12am i looooooove it ahahahah.

So...
I got some blood work done, since i was a new patient at a new doctor. My thyroid test came back abnormal, i now have to get tested for hypothyriodism. This may explain why i have been sleeping non stop on weekends, my pooish moods, and my fattines.. but then again so can laziness so i guess we shall see what the blood says. In the mean time the net is boring, surveys are not, so here are some for my entertainment.
